Hi Peeps.
Today i thought i would take you on a great wine tour of Stellenbosch , Cape Town. While i had a couple of days doing nothing a group of us decided to take this wine route of around 44 Vineyards , we hired a small mini van very cheap and luckily we had a non drinker , so he was going to do all the driving. ( thank god!!!)
travelling through this picturesk landscape where the Indian Ocean meets the Atlantic at Cape Point. The locals are great hosts and at our first stop we were welcomed in with open arms , seeing the history of this fabulous country where they love their tradition still reminiscent of the Dutch.
After tasting about 4 lovely wines we headed off with a few collectors items this day was going to be hard of sampling!!!! by mid afternoon half the group where sleeping , i found to my surprise a fantastic port in one of the wineries and could not buy enough to take home with me.;-)
Overall a great day and the heritage and culture second to none.
